Advantages
Evergreen-Maritime pneuamtic rubber fenders are widely accepted and used by more and more shipowners, port perators and so on because of its following advantages.
1.1.ISO 17357 appvoded
Evergree Maritime pneumatic fender is manfuacturered and testd comply with ISO17357:2014. In 2009, Evergreen Maritime pneuamtic fenders are certificated by Lloyd's comply with ISO17357.
1.1.1 Sufficient minimum pressure
THe minimum endurable pressure is probably the most important performance test and certainly the best way to verify whether a particular fender have enough body strength to sustain the increased internal air pressure when compressed during berthing and mooring operations.
1.1.2 Hydrostatic pressure test
THe hydrostatic pressure test is the second most important performance verification test and is used to estimate the body strength and design integrity of a fender.
This test is often done for the commercial fender upon the requirements of our customers. Its compliance is the essential requeirements of the manufacturer's certificate or the third party certificate.
2.1. Superior performance
2.1.1 Steady performance
Comparing with solid rubber or foam filled fenders, the performance of pneumatic fender is more steady. There isn't the derioration or variation in performance because as the changes of rubber or foam hardness occurring as a result of cyclic compression and temperature change.
2.1.2 Advantages at inclined berthing
Ships usually make initial contact with the dock or another ship on STS operation at oblique angle.
2.1.3 Resistance for shearing force
Considering combined force of the shearing forces with compression force, Evergreen Maritime pneumaitc fenders are reinforced by extra synthetic-tire-cord layers on the semicircle end. This design can provide the best resistance against shearing force when the ship shift to the correct mooring position.
2.1.4 Soft reaction force
This soft reaction force of pneumatic fenders cannot lead to damage the ship and mooring facilities. The increase of reaction force of pneumatic fenders isn't sharply, even under excess load conditions. Its this kind performance is better than solid rubber fenders, the reaction force of which increaseds sharply under exceeds load conditon.
2.1.5 Low mooring forces.
3.1 most economical fendering system
4.1 Adaptable to the tide
