Evergreen Rubber Ship Launching Airbag Balloons Marine Air Bags for Vessels Boats
1.Usage of Marine Airbags
Ship Launching Marine Airbags, also known as roller bags or ship launching rubber balloon, are made of heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers with inner and out rubber layers in long cylindrical balloon shape. Marine Airbags for Ship Launching and Dry Docking for barge can be used for n Brazil, Indonesia Shipyard especially for barges launching, pull to shore, vessels' haul out and ship landing work.
2.Comparison with other Launch Way
Rollers Bag is a innovative ship launching technology, comparing with "end-on launching", "side ship launching", "float-out". This ship launching technology overcomes the restrictions of fixed launching track of side-launch. Ship launching airbags are accepted by more and more shipyards world wide due to its advantages of saving time, saving investment, flexible, safety. The biggest vessel launched by ship launching airbags up to 100,000 DWT.
3.Material and constructure of Marine Airbag
Inflatable Marine Airbags are to be constructed of an out rubber layer, multilayer heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers, and an inner rubber layer vulcanized firmly. Ship launching marine airbags are cylindrical balloon body, with two conical head and end mouth. Air tightness swivel and air inlet kits are screwed with end mouth. Refer below picture.
1. Synthetic-tire-cord layer - Reinforcement layer of the ship launching marine
airbags which are made of rubber coated synthetic-tire-cord fabrics. Many synthetic-tire cord layers are twined at ideal angles by unique and patented "Holistic Wrapping Technology". To hold the internal pressure and to distribute the stress evenly. Buoder use the 1870 dtex/2 type synthetic-tire-cord fabric. The warp is over 95 cords per 100 mm in width, and the breaking strength is more than 310N per cord.
2. The outer rubber layer covers the outside of ship launching marine airbags. To protects the cord layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and hard usage.
4.Classification of Roller Marine Air Bags
Ship launching marine airbags are categorized by "ordinary airbags", "high-bearing capacity airbags", and "Super-high-bearing capacity airbags" according to the bearing capacity.
The standard diameter of ship launching marine airbags (D) varies such as 0.8m, 1.0m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m and 2.0m, 2.5 meters etc. The standard effective length of air bag (EL or L) is from 6m to 26m, which should be specified by the user. Other specification ship launching airbags also can be supplied upon request.

Prior to delivery of the ship launching marine airbags, we test every air bag .All Evergreen Maritime ship launching marine airbags are manufactured and tested comply with ISO 14409 "Ships and marine technology - ship launching air bags certificated by CCS, LR, DNV.
-The strong points of Evergreen intensive airbags
A. Advanced framework design
Evergreen intensive airbags employs the advanced whole enlacing technology which demands the interwist of each layers without any seams. Also the two conical ends of airbags are reinforced with extra two layers. The innovative design improve the whole performance of intensive airbags such as the inner pressure, sealed capability and safety.
B.Excellent quality material employed
Each 10 cm long frame work material has 94 synthetic-tyre-cords whose tensile strength are 21kn/strand and 30kn/strand respectively. The outer rubber components have sufficient tensile and tear resistance strength to withstand anticipated severe usage. The reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer re strong enough to hold the inner air pressure in both compressed and non-compressed situation and its employed rubber is made up of natural and synthetic rubber. The imported sealant which is manufactured of international brand factory according our special demand ensures the tight bond of each layers.
C. Fine work
The body of intensive air bag is smooth and both ends are streamlining. Special treatment was done to valves first and then seals them with conical ends of air bags. This method can solve the valves problems of possive damage and air leakage.
D.High performance
The advanced designed framework, excellent material and our fine work make the performance of Evergreen intensive airbags much higher than requirements of CB/T3795-1996. Our air bags can withstand the fierce conditions and severe usage and is the top choice for serious customers.
E. Strict inspection
We firmly enforce the ruled inspections to each air bags from the surface to inner pressure and also the air leak. We ensure every piece of air bag which is sent to customers is eligible.
-Precaution of airbags usage
A.Strictly control the inner pressure of airbags not exceed the safety working pressure.
B. The contacted surface of carried load with airbags sould not have protrudend sharp subjects which may pierce airbags.
C.Avoid the lengthways twist of airbags during the using.
D.If the airbags are not used for long time or repaired the should be tested by the inflation experiment before used again. The test inner pressure should be the same of working inner pressure. Generally the largely repaired airbags should low down the working pressure in use.
-Maintenance guide of airbag repairing
When there is air leakage, identified the crack propagation by visual inspection on the air bag to check on the rubber characteristic by determine the surface whether seriously aging(fatigue fracture and sticky surface)
There are two ways of patching, which are hot and normal temperature vulcanization. Now we introduce the hot vulcanization as below,
A. Clean up thoroughly inner and outer airbags to ensure totally clean specially on the outer wall surface. Do not immersed into the water more than 10 minutes before patching.
B. Marking/indentified the air leakage area by extending wound part outward 15mm.
C.Structure layerial segregate by 2-6 layers depends on the size of flake leakage area.
Eg. Leakage area approx. 110mm or propagating fracture 50-70mm will be patched with 4-6 layers and it's better equipped"+" cushion of nylon.
D. File the flake leakage area by sand paper in single way direction for several times to ensure clean & smooth surface surrounding the fracture area. Remember to clean it again with compressed air.
E. The whole process should ensure there is no unwanted particular embedded and dry up the air bag surface. The brush up some owned made 502 glue with the ingredient of glue mixture of pure rubber material: petroleum base chemical of 1:8.
F.Patching precess- use prepared mentioned layer to patch.
G. Vulcanizing press process-using the rack structure indicated below to carried our vulcanizing precess by heating up to 135+-5C; Press the flake leakage area with 0.08-0.12Mpa pressure for 40-50 minutes.
G.inspection-check the patching area to ensure the tight agglutination. the inflated the air bag for final checking.
